General Information
The two-year Associate of Science degree program in hospitality management is designed to provide students with a sound basis in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management. The first year of the program includes courses in the liberal arts, food and beverage operations, and practical courses in the kitchen and service departments. After the first two terms in residence students have the skills and professional knowledge to begin their first paid internship in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality-related business operation. The internship is a carefully structured and supervised part of the program, bringing to life what has been learned in the classroom.
